Where can steel bollards be used?

A bollard is usually defined as short post that is used to create a protective or architectural perimeter on a property, verge or driveway. When installed they create a simple visual guide that directs traffic or mark boundaries. As architectural elements, they can be manufactured in a wide variety of shapes, styles and materials to accentuate or visually stand out in the existing conditions they are being placed in.

Steel bollards are very versatile products when it comes to creating a visual barrier that can change the flow of pedestrian movements or vehicle traffic flows in an area. They are very visible and can be a great alternative to building a wall or new fencing.

Their shape and design means they can be easily installed into any type of public space whether that is a driveway, footpath, viewing area or even a side alley. We manufacture bollards that are fixed and we also have removable options as well. Our range of bollards can be custom made to suit the sizing and specifications you need and that includes a range of materials, colours and finishes.

This means they can be used in both traffic management or public safety applications quite easily.

Applications for different bollard types can include;

  • Roads or driveways
  • School Zones
  • Shopping Centres
  • Entertainment Venues
  • Tourist Attractions
  • Sports Arenas and
  • Events Areas
