ENCAT: Blue Mountains National Park outdoor seating installation

outdoor seating designed and installed in the blue mountains national park by ENCAT
We produced this AILA NSW Landscape Architecture award winning outdoor seating that is used in the Blue Mountains National Park in NSW

Outdoor public seating manufactured for the Blue Mountains National Park

"This national park outdoor seating project was really challenging and ENCAT was so great to be involved with it.

The Blue Mountains are an iconic, worldwide, tourist attraction and to see products made by an Australian civil manufacturing company being used is great to see.

"ENCAT was chosen as the manufacturing supplier because of our record of producing high quality, durable custom made products for public areas & you can still see them installed today which is a testiment to that."

With the National Parks and Wildlife Service for the Blue Mountains National Park we helped produce this outdoor seating area. It was also recognised in the 2017 AILA NSW Landscape Architecture Design Awards as part of the Blue Mountains Walking Track Project.

Outdoor seating for national parks and public spaces

Minister of Environment Mark Speakman

ENCAT has been manufacturing and supplying national parks, councils, schools and civil contractors with custom designed outdoor seating solutions for many years. The focus for our company is coming up with clever product designs that suit public areas with durable designs that use local Australian steel.

For this project Minister for the Environment , the Hon. Mark Speakman, SC MP was involved in providing local Government support.

Using our in-house design team and production facilities at our factory in NSW we can work with architects, interior or exterior designers, town planners and other professionals. We can bring to life any type of idea that helps pedestrians stay safe, controls traffic, prevents access or simply improves the usage of a public space with things like pedestrian fencing, viewing platforms and more.

ENCAT was also engaged to provide new pedestrian bridges for the world famous 3 Sisters in the Blue Mountains. We produced each element to compliment the area with a custom designed and manufactured bridge with handrails.
