Using our 30+ years of experience we are always exploring ways to locally design and manufacture metal fabricated products for civil use that strike a balance between local regulations, safety & the required specifications to keep people safe when using public spaces.
We specialise in pedestrian fencing as a designer, manufacturer and installer. We have also developed a range of metal products that are supplied to civil works contractors, councils, schools or national parks in Australia.

We have been designing and producing products for civil use for more than 30 years. Our products are used by schools, councils, shopping centres and other locations around the world.

Everything that we design and produce is done in Australia at our purpose built facility in New South Wales. We manage each step of the process from end to end & ship globally.
We are one of the few Australian manufacturers of pedestrian fencing or other civil products that hold stock locally. From quote, to purchase order, to fast, efficient delivery to any location required.
Over thirty years I have been fortunate to be involved in so many civil works construction projects. We have deliberately remained focussed on being an Australian manufacturer that puts governance ahead of profits. It amazes me how many times people buy inferior products that fail & threaten the public's safety.
I have witnessed first-hand the effectiveness of pedestrian fencing. ENCAT supplied a section of RMS pedestrian fence in a busy commercial area where, despite traffic lights, speed limits and policing, there was a constant stream of pedestrians crossing the road at a mid point.
After installation of the fencing all pedestrians began crossing at the traffic lights; a win for motorists and pedestrian safety with lives saved. I enjoy working with commercial fencing contractors to supply high quality pedestrian fencing that is made in Australia.
Partial & full balustrade mounted into sandstone blocks, a fixing method that protected the architectural intent of the landscaping while delivering compliant fall protection.
Bathurst Regional Council required a bus shelter at a designated school bus pick-up and set-down area servicing children from farming properties along Timber Ridge Road, Wallangs.
ENCAT was engaged on the basis of our demonstrated capability to supply structurally certified, DDA-compliant bus shelter infrastructure and the track record we have at Sydney Airport itself having previously supplied shelters of the same design.
